ARY - Autonomous Mobile Robots

 
 
 
Autonomous or cooperative, ARY robots are complex systems. 
 
Computers are necessary in order to provide general control, human-machine communication, and strategic management of robots. 
 
Programming is crucial in order to allows humans to specify robot behaviour and general tasks to be performed. 
 
In a fashion analog to humans, robots must rely on numerous specialized organs, and the proper architecture for distributing in a coherent way these components is a key issue. 
 
In mobile robots, locomotion issues are essential, as well as motion control aspects.
